On, March 17, 2011, King Solomon’s Lodge in Somerville in conjunction with Mystic Valley Lodge of Arlington, hosted the 65th anniversary of our Right Worshipful Irving Johansen, joining us in the festivities of the evening was the Most Worshipful Grand Master of Massachusetts Richard J. Stewart , Escorted by Right Worshipful Grand Marshall Thomas Stark, along with the District Deputy Grand Master of the third Masonic District Right Worshipful Eugene A. Capobianco.
Also in attendance we had Masters from various Lodges, Past Masters from various Lodges, Past District Deputy Grand Master, Brothers and guests, including Peggy Johansen and Diane Johansen supporting R.W. Irving Johansen.
It was indeed a pleasure and an honor to have this wonderful event to recognize and celebrate the achievements of a Brother over the 65 years of a Masonic career.
We took a walk down the memory lane of R.W. Irving Johansen career and it was given by Worshipful Donald Norton.
The presentation of a Citation was given by Worshipful Jose (Joe) Jorge and Worshipful Gary Olson. The Most Worshipful Grand Mater Richard J. Stuart, and Right Worshipful District Deputy Grand Master of the Third Masonic District Eugene Capobianco also made a presentation to our brother R.W. Irving Johansen.
King Solomon’s Lodge is truly honored and much appreciative of all the hard work R.W. Erving Johansen, has given and dedicated to the Lodge over the years.
I also want to thank all who attended this wonderful evening thank you for supporting R.W. Irving Johansen in celebrating 65 years as a mason.
